Tyler Whitman

The Whitman Team NYC | Managing Partner, Hamptons | Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker
As one of The Agency’s brightest stars and a top producer, Tyler Whitman is known — and beloved— for his distinct brand of enthusiasm, empathy, confidence and inspiring leadership. Tyler is a seasoned real estate professional with over a decade of experience helping people find homes in New York City.

No stranger to the public eye, Tyler has starred on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York,” and currently co-hosts the hit real estate and mindset podcast, “Glitter and Gay,” with real estate celebrity, Glennda Baker. Ranked #11 in New York State, Tyler has achieved $700 million in sales since starting The Whitman Team in 2018. He now splits his time between the city and Sag Harbor, where he also serves as Managing Partner of The Agency Hamptons.

In his real estate career thus far, Tyler has not only worked as an agent; he also served as Triplemint’s original Head of Sales. After several years on the company’s leadership team where he trained and coached agents through thousands of rentals and sales, Tyler now leads the top-producing sales team at The Agency New York. The Whitman Team is one of the most talented and dynamic real estate teams in the city and The Hamptons, known for their analytical skills, generosity and ability to make buying, selling and investing in real estate a fun experience.

“Aside from connecting and building a great rapport with my clients, I think the negotiation is the best part of being an agent,” says Tyler. “I love taking two parties—buyers and sellers—with completely opposite goals of wanting the highest price and the lowest price and using creative, critical skills to design the deal that gets closed. It’s a meaningful win, every time.”

Originally from Florida and Alabama, Tyler moved to New York with big dreams of living an entrepreneurial life. After a disappointing experience working with a broker to find his first Manhattan home, he knew that New York City was the area where he could make a positive impact on a large scale.

Outside of the office, Tyler is an avid equestrian and a loving parent to his two dogs, Peggy and Peter, and his horse, Quinaro. When he's not working with clients, he can almost always be found at the farm in Bridgehampton training with his horse for competitions near and far. Tyler loves enjoying the lifestyles offered by New York City and the Hamptons—two of the most incredible places in the world. From fabulous dining and a night at the theater while in the city to sunny days at one of the Hamptons’ stunning beaches, Tyler revels in the contrasts of the two markets he serves and calls home.
