Demi Moore Is Still Trying To Sell Her San Remo Penthouse

by | Jul 8, 2016

Demi Moore has essentially been sitting on the winning lottery ticket with her Central Park West penthouse, but she can’t find a buyer. Demi just dropped her listing price for the penthouse by a whopping 21%.

That’s a huge drop no matter what the original listing price is, but at $75 million that equates to a $16 million dollar price cut lowering the sales price to only $59 million (only). Besides the $59 million asking price, the monthly maintenance charges will run the new owner nearly $18K per month.

The property has been on the market for over 400 days at this point, which is probably why there has been some movement on the listing price.

The property has 6 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms to go along with its one of a kind New York City views. The views from the terrace and balcony are inspiring, to say the least.

Spanning over 7,000 square feet from end to end, each unit at the San Remo was designed to set the standard for luxury and extravagance. The South Tower Penthouse is the only unit that remained as a duplex, the remaining units have all been converted to a single story.

The San Remo allows pets, has an elevator, and includes a full-time doorman. The building offers all residents a long list of amenities which includes a bike room, laundry room, gym, and a live-in-Super.

The San Remo is famous for being a celebrity hotspot with previous tenants such as Glenn Close, Steven Spielberg, Diane Keaton, and Dustin Hoffman.

There are three active listings (including Demi’s Penthouse) currently in the building as well as two listings that are already under contract. Those properties range from $5-59 million. Built in the late 1920’s during the peak of the stock market crash, no expense was spared to create this one of a kind icon in Manhattan.
