by | Aug 29, 2017

Only a couple weeks after listing her apartment, beauty and makeup mogul Laura Mercier has already found a buyer for her stunning Walker Tower Chelsea pad. According to the New York Post, the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2,168-square-foot unit sold for $11.15 million to an all-cash buyer.

Laura Mercier, who began her career as a make-up artist for Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Sarah Jessica Parker, originally purchased the apartment for $5.91 million back in late 2013.

The condo features high ceilings, French herringbone floors, and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows. The master bedroom also includes two walk-in closets and a master bath with a cast-iron tub.

The kitchen, which features high-end modern appliances from Miele and Viking, also includes a wine cooler and a built-in coffee machine.

Mercier is planning to spend more time in her home country of France, where she’ll look to expand her popular personal makeup brand.

However, Mercier still wants to purchase another apartment in New York, albeit a smaller one, to call home. Mercier wants, “to find something else with character and great bones, hopefully still in Chelsea.”

Mercier will have to find a new place quickly, as her apartment’s buyer already wants to move in by mid-September. While there’s no word on the identity of buyer, Walker Tower has attracted a variety of other A-listers, such as Cameron Diaz, Katie Holmes, and Harrison Ford.
