BLACKOUT HAUNTED HOUSE:

When | Where: Through Nov. 10; 164 11th Ave., between 22nd and 23rd streets.

Two rules, one of which terrifies us: Participants have to walk through by themselves and need to be aged 18 or older.

BLOOD MANOR:

When | Where: Through Nov. 2; 163 Varick St., Manhattan

You’ll navigate dark corridors within a 5,000-square-foot space in Hudson Square, dodging zombies and accompanied by an adult, if you’re younger than 14.

Parades

TOMPKINS SQUARE HALLOWEEN DOG PARADE:

When | Where: Noon, Oct. 26, Tompkins Square Dog Run, East 9th Street between avenues A and B.

Take your costumed canine, take your camera, get ready for the cuteness.

VILLAGE HALLOWEEN PARADE:

When | Where: From 7-10 p.m. Oct. 31, it runs along 6th Avenue from Spring to 16th streets. To join in, come in costume and enter on 6th Avenue between Canal and Spring streets starting at 6:30.

Feel the history of 40 years of freaks and geeks, ghouls and ghosts converging in Manhattan.

WEBSTER HELL: Expect all four floors of Webster Hall to be in the spirit, and even if your costume doesn’t quite allow for dancing, fire performers and spillover from the Village Halloween parade will provide plenty for you to simply sit back and watch.
