Public records recently revealed that When Harry Met Sally actress Meg Ryan finally sold her stunning SoHo condo for $9.85 million, a discount from its original price. Ryan originally listed the 4,100-square-foot, 3-bedroom, and 3-bathroom apartment back in February for $10.9 million.

In 2014, Ryan purchased the unit, located at 84 Mercer Street, for $8 million. The actress then hired architect Joel Barkley and designer Monique Gibson to gut renovate the space. The apartment now features a 40-foot-tall entry hall with five windows overlooking Mercer Street, modern kitchen appliances, high-end cabinetry, and a massive master suite bathroom.

Astoundingly, the Mercer Street unit was the ninth apartment Ryan has renovated. The actress recently told Architectural Digest, “I know it sounds crazy to most people, the idea of renovating that many houses. But I love renovating.”
She later explained her passion saying, “I think it’s tied to living the actor’s life. As an actor, you’re so rarely in control. With decorating, I’m in control; it’s a chance for me to bring my vision into the world.”

After selling her Mercer Street loft, you may be curious to know where Meg Ryan purchased her next space. Unsurprisingly, the answer is… TriBeCa’s 443 Greenwich Street development.

At this point, 443 Greenwich Street and NYC celebrity real state have become synonymous. The old book bindery turned luxury apartment development is home to a wide array of celebrities, such as Justin Timberlake, Rebel Wilson, and Jake Gyllenhaal, to name just a few.
Meg Ryan purchased the condo back in June for $9.4 million under her LLC Third World Dog Trust. The 3,155-square-foot apartment features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a massive central great room. Ryan will also enjoy the building’s amenities, which includes outdoor space, a swimming pool, wine cellar, 24/7 concierge service, and an underground, paparazzi-proof car garage.
