Midtown West Entertainment

by | Sep 19, 2014

Between the action of Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and the Theater District, Midtown West is the entertainment mecca. In addition to these staples, the neighborhood features world-renowned museums and music venues.

At Rockefeller Center, head to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck and experience 360-degree views of NYC. Take a tour of NBC Studios, and during the holiday season don’t miss ice skating under the magnificent Christmas tree. Catch a show on Broadway where you can watch some of the world’s most talented performers act, sing, and dance. If you feel like being remotely cultured or just want to impress your parents and friends, visit the Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Television and Radio, or the International Center of Photography. For a special evening, snag tickets to the New York City Ballet or Jazz at Lincoln Center. Always check the lineup at Madison Square Garden, which hosts a plethora of events including concerts and games.

If you just want to mosey around and shop, check out the Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market, named one of the Top Ten Shopping Streets in the World by National Geographic. The distinctive vendors carry antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, home decorations, furniture, jewelry, and more.
