The hilarity that ensues when Kevin McCallister does anything is quite entertaining. He is a baby jerk and he owns it/wears it well. He offends a homeless lady in Central Park, plays tricks on the Plaza staff, and charges unnecessary things to his dad’s credit card.

As wonderful and this cult classic is, we have something way more spectacular to discuss. Something fit for King Culkin himself. Something deliciously pretentious, delightfully sinister, and built for the likes of only 1%. Today is the day we give thorough thanks for The Plaza!
The Plaza Hotel was built in 1907 and cost $12.5 million to construct. At opening, the hotel only charged $2.50 a night. Those were the days! Today rooms go for around $700 a night! Holy room service, Oprah! The Plaza and the Waldorf-Astoria are the only New York City hotels to be designated as a National Historic Landmark. As well as being a high-end, cater to the mega-rich hotel, The Plaza also has condominium units for sale and for rent.
