The Ultimate Guide to Pride 2019 in NYC

by | May 22, 2019

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, which served as a catalyst for the LGBTQIA+ rights movement worldwide.

For those who don’t know, on June 28, 1969, New York City police raided the Stonewall Inn, a gay club located in NYC’s Greenwich Village.

Though this event didn’t necessarily start the LGBTQIA+ rights movement in its entirety, it was a driving force for political activism, which led to the creation of many organizations that fight for LGBTQIA+ rights.

To commemorate the anniversary of a day that changed society, NYC will welcome WorldPride for the largest Pride celebration in the world, spanning the entire month of June!

Triplemint’s NYC real estate agents will be celebrating, read on to find out how you can too!
