2021 ended with a strong real estate market in Hudson County. Year over year sales were up 10%, median listed and average sales prices were up 6% and 7%, there were 20% fewer listings on the market, and homes spent less time on the market than they did compared with Q4 2020. Quarter over quarter numbers reflected the slower pace that typically comes with the holiday season: although median listed prices were up 1%, there was a 3% decrease in median sales prices, a 9% decrease in total sales, and a 3% increase in days on the market.
