Triplemint NYC Monthly Real Estate Market Update: November 2021

The Manhattan real estate market showed no signs of slowing down in November, with month over month and year over year increases in average price per square foot, median listed price, and number of contracts signed. Year over year sales were up 72% and down 20% month over month. Overall inventory was down.

  


The November real estate market saw inventory tighten while sales and contracts signed decreased in comparison with October and increased in comparison with November 2020. Average price per square foot was up and median listed price was down year over year and up month over month.

  


The Queens November real estate market saw a month over month decrease in sales, new listings, and overall inventory. Median listed prices were up year over year and month over month, while total sales were up year over year.
