The New York City real estate market saw increased sales during Q3 across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Manhattan remained strong with year over year sales up 167% and quarter over quarter sales up 32%. Listed price and price per square foot remained steady while contracts signed was up YOY and down QOQ. New listings and total inventory were down compared with Q2.

Strong demand in the Brooklyn real estate market continued during Q3 with quarter over quarter sales up 33% and year over year sales up 176%. Listed prices, contracts signed, and inventory were down, while average price per square foot was up YOY and QOQ.

Queens real estate saw gains across the board during Q3, with sales up 90% year over year and 5% quarter over quarter. Year over year new listings were down while quarter over quarter inventory was up considerably. Median sales prices and median listed prices were also up year over year and quarter over quarter.
